POSTDOCTORAL

We are looking for postdoctoral associates with experience in computational biophysics or structural bioinformatics. Candidates should have a strong background in theoretical physics, applied mathematics, or computer science, demonstrated by outstanding publication record. Our research focuses on molecular recognition, including protein-protein interactions and computer aided drug design. The primary goal of the lab is algorithm and software development, and thus strong programming skills in C and Python are required. Candidates are expected to have good communication skills, to work with graduate students, and to have a strong drive for building a successful research career.

The Laboratory of Structural Bioinformatics at Boston University is part of a highly ranked biomedical engineering department, and we collaborate with a number of leading research groups in the Boston/Cambridge area. Send resume, statement of research experience, and names of three references to Sandor Vajda (vajda@bu.edu), Department of Biomedical Engineering, Boston University, 44 Cummington Street, Boston MA 02215

GRADUATE STUDENT

We are currently accepting graduate students with a background in biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, chemistry and computer science. If you are interested in doing graduate work in our lab, please apply to the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Boston University. If you are a current graduate student at Boston University, please contact Sandor Vajda (vajda@bu.edu) for more information.
